Welcome to H2GO KAYAKING LLC.

My name is Dave Schultz. I'm the owner and sole instructor. Our mission at H2go Kayaking LLC is to provide you with a safe, comfortable, and fun paddling environment that allows you to decide how far to push yourself. Our classes are very flexible. No matter your age or comfort level, we'll get you paddling. In our Introduction to Kayak class we paddle on Lake Andrea in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (1 mile north of the Illinois, Wisconsin border in Kenosha County). Lake Andrea is a 100-acre no-motor lake with bathroom facilities and ample parking. In our Coastal Kayak class we paddle on Lake Michigan next to the U.S. Coast Guard station in Kenosha, Wisconsin. We paddle close to shore in swells 0 - 2 feet. We carry a marine radio for instant contact with the U.S Coast Guard and to monitor changing weather conditions. This is my company, and my goal is to exceed your expectations. Please feel free to call or email with any questions about our classes or kayaking in general. Thank you for your time, Dave Schultz Owner/Instructor

No experience necessary!

You've never paddled a sea kayak? No problem. You can paddle one of ours. After spending a day with H2GO, you'll feel more comfortable paddling on flat water. But be forewarned, sea kayaking is extremely addicting. Gliding across the water under your own power is one of mankind’s oldest arts and traditions. You don't have to be an athlete, but you should be healthy and consult with your physician if there is any question in your mind. Wet exits and re-entries do put stress on the body. For the most part, kayaking is low impact, but you will get wet. KAYAKING is a wet sport!!

What will I learn?

History, boat parts, materials, design, proper boat fit, how to enter and exit a kayak, how to launch and land, paddling strokes, wet exits and re-entry. We will discuss risk management, hypothermia, water hazards, wind, waves, weather, proper gear, clothing, types of kayaks and more.
